I have been on pins and needles waiting to blog about this wedding! To say I am thrilled with how beautiful these images turned out is an understatement. Of course it helps when your subject is as beautiful as Beth and her lovely friends. However, physical beauty is no match for the emotions of the day. The love emulating from Kyle & Beth was beyond measure and it shows in every photo of the two together.
I joined Brittany Thomas Photography to learn some tricks of the trade and mentor with her on this sunny Saturday afternoon in Towson, MD. Brittany was so welcoming and provided me with a wealth of knowledge throughout the day. She inspired me to start blogging.....so here I am. First, let me just say I love weddings. I love everything about them. For me they are like snowflakes because each one is entirely different from the next. Capturing the event, the emotions and the people.....the experience is like no other I have ever photographed. Photographing all of the little details is by far my favorite part. Hearing the stories behind each little memento really helps me feel connected to the bride and groom.
And then there are the people.....Everyone in this bridal party was fun and energetic and happy to share their day with me. I can't imagine anyone not loving these two and their family and friends. I felt like family from the time I stepped into their home to photograph the bride and her bridesmaids.
Even the grooms brother pulled me aside for an impromptu mini photo shoot with his date during the reception. It was so adorable I can hardly stand it!
With so much love and energy coupled with all of Brittany's help throughout the day I feel like I really knocked these wedding photos out of the park! Especially the one above. I can't stop staring at how amazing it is. I can't wait to apply all of the new skills I learned to my next wedding. Stay tuned!
